Unless I missed something I have to say that Jake Delhomme's comment on the hit he took from Ndamukong Suh was class act. First of all here's what he said if you missed it.
"I'll let the league office handle that," Delhomme said with a smile. "We got a first down out of it and that made me happy." (this according to Cleveland Browns expect Ndamukong Suh review)
Actually it was more than a hit it was a blast from the past. You know the kind of hits Quarterbacks took before we started protecting them with granny panties.
Some say he should be suspended some say it was just a rookie mistake. Someone trying to make a play, play hard and help his team. Well Suh this isn't college anymore and Quarterbacks are more valuable than you are even though your pretty valuable. So be careful or the next time you play the Browns someone may just to decide to be the hatchet man and take a cheap shot on you. Let's hope not, let's hope that it's taken for what it was a player moving fast, playing hard and just trying to get that sack.
It appears that Jake was not overly disappointed or else who would be screaming bloody murder! I say his reaction is that he is aware that he didn't deserve the slam, but it's part of the game and mistakes happen in all games all the time.
