Here we are talking about NCAA basketball and the football season hasn't even started.
My previous post mentioned the preseason rankings of USA Today's top ten in college football, so here is a preseason ranking on Dick Vitale's favorite sport, college hoops.
Saying that with the return of Sherron Collins and Cole Aldrich, two members of his all Rolls Royce team, He picks KU at #1. (rock-chalk-jayhawk). With the arrival of Coach Cal at UK and the landing of two of the nations top recruits in John Wall and DeMarcus Cousins, it seems Kentucky was a shoo in at #2.( go Big Blue) Both schools should be jumping for joy not only over the rankings, but for the sheer strength that each team is going to have.
Rounding out his top ten are as follows:
3. Michigan State, 4. Texas, 5. Duke, 6. Purdue, 7. Villanova, 8. North Carolina, 9. West Virginia, 10. Illinois
