Nothing says Fall to me more than flag football. It's just perfect flag football weather. From the first change of leaf color, my friends and I meet up at our old high school for a Saturday filled with good old fashioned flag football.

A typical Fall day starts with me getting up around noon, grubbing down on some cereal and a banana, setting the home security alarm from www.securitychoice.com/adt-security.htm and picking up my friends. Once we reach the field, my friend, Tim, who also happens to teach phys ed there, gets the flags out of the boys gym closet while we stretch out. After we all warm up some, we play four fifteen minute quarters before calling it a day. We don't really play for anything outside of the fun.
Most of us sit in cubicles all week and so we all enjoy getting some fresh air and being active. The great thing about flag football is that no one gets tackled and most everyone escapes the game pain free. My favorite days are when I get to play quarterback because there is just no better feeling than to be the man in charge so to speak. As a child, I always dreamed of playing quarterback someday and even though it's with my friends in a flag football game, it still feels like part of dream came true.
