TV time online

Guest post written by Alice Compton

I love watching TV but don’t have time to catch all my shows between getting my kids to soccer practice and work. Yes, DVR exists, but sometimes even setting it to record a TV show is too much for me to think about. That’s why I watch most of my TV on the computer.

Fortunately for people like me, more and more TV channels are putting their episodes online for free. I always watch shows late at night with my wildblue on my laptop after I put my kids to bed. But by that point in the day I’m so exhausted that I don’t really have time to wait around for a video to buffer. When I started making this my TV watching habit, I read about wildblue internet pricing and wireless services that would stream videos better than the provider I had then.

I found some good reviews and bought it. Since then I’ve had no trouble watching Liz Lemon make a fool of herself on “30 Rock” or Michael Scott make inappropriate jokes on “The Office.”
