NCAA 64 Team Tournament is Perfect, Why 69 it...I mean 96 it!

Give'em an inch, they'll take a mile.

I think a wise man once said this. Had to be a wise man or one of experience. Either or they seem to stand correct.

My rant of the whole NCAA expansion from 64 to 96 teams in the tournament is just that. Give them a little and they want more. The only ones who benefit from this is the greedy thought process of everyone but the players. The very heart of the game and tournament. What you say? How can that be?

Yes we all like buzzer beaters, Cinderella's and the chance our team would have to get a shot at the big crown or to be able to dance with the majors instead of NIT wits. But come on. If your going to expand you need to consider the regular season, the players involved and the teams who worked hard all season to get there.

Will it take away from the regular season. Will it prove my team is better than yours. Hell no. If you really want to do that then do away with the conference championships and move right to the dance floor and start dancing.

Does anyone really watch or did you watch the play-in game this year. I can't even remember who it was. For that matter the brackets were already completable. You didn't have to wait on the game to take place. You could go ahead and fill it out as I'm sure everyone did. They didn't wait on the play in game.

Though nothing has been decided I foresee it happening and personally I think it's a farce and only benefits the profits and fills the pockets of a greedy group of individuals who take nothing in consideration but just that. Money, mo money!

What do you think? Want to see it expand. Tell us why you think it's a good idea or not.
