The Kansas City Chiefs have signed another veteran today by bringing in Ashley Lelie. I am wondering is he a good fit? Denver drafted Lelie in the first round and it seems he has not actually turned out to be that swell of a receiver. Having played four or five years in Denver before moving on to Atlanta, San Francisco and then Oakland. Makes you wonder what he has to offer the Chiefs. Though if you look at who they let go, 27 yr. old Jeff Webb who didn't do much for the Chiefs last year either, then you might think at least they made a little improvement. Lelie who caught 11 passes last yr. for less than 200 yds. and 2 TD's, will replace Webb who had only five receptions last yr. for less than 50 yds. and no TD's. I still think allowing Bradley more time on the field is what they need. And don't forget about Bowe who seemed to be the one who looked football ready in Saturdays preseason game against the Texans.
