Well I had to title this as team(s) because I have two favorite NCAA Basketball teams and not just one. The Big Blue Nation of the Kentucky Wildcats and the rough tough Allen Field House otherwise known as the home of the Kansas Jayhawks and the Phog.
I know they recently played against each other and Kentucky ended up on the winning edge by a huge margin. However, I still love Kansas and the Jayhawks as they have been home for me for a long time. But I still bleed Wildcat Blue. It's hard to get that out of your blood when you are raised in the bluegrass state. It seems that folks live and die with basketball season in Kentucky, even more so than horse racing.
As for the funny looking bird known as the Jayhawk, well it's really second to none as well. I remember when Danny Manning was playing for the Jayhawks and took us not only to the Championship game as an underdog, but Won it for us along the way. What an exciting year that was too!
