Freedom of On Demand TV

Guest post by Morton England

I've recently started taking advantage of the free On Demand option on my satellite TV from cannonsatellite.com and I must say that it is one of the best television viewing inventions ever. Having the opportunity to watch almost any program at any time gives you an unrivaled sense of freedom in your television viewing. Freedom from ads, freedom from browsing through guides and freedom from the constraints of time slots. It's basically the epitome of the American way.

These days I watch almost all my movies On Demand and have started to watch some TV shows as well. In most cases, I would never have known that the movie was even on TV had it not been for it's availability via On Demand. This past week I've seen Transporter 2, Kick Ass and the Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift thanks to On Demand TV, despite not knowing when these movies were even on.

Another feature I love is the specialty channels that are available through On Demand. I watch tons of anime online, so it's pretty cool to be have the anime channel and just check out shows whenever you please. Another channel I enjoy watching is the food network channel on demand. It just makes watching television so much more convenient that I have to remind myself to go outside every once in awhile to get some fresh air.
