We hadn't gone to a homecoming game at our college in a long time. But now that we were both retired and didn't have any family committments that we had to do instead we decided we should go to homecoming this year.
But there was a lot of stuff that we needed to do before we actually went. I had to catch up with a lot of my old friends first. I also wanted to look and feel my best for the game. So I got fitted with some discount hearing aids to help me feel as young as back then and got my hair and nails done. I even went and bought some outfits that were our school colors.
When we finally got there for the game weekend I was telling some of my old girlfriends about it one of them told me that she got some hearing aids in Colorado too. Then it ends up that my husband's old fraternity brother told him that weekend without knowing that I had just got some that he bought some hearing aids Minnesota.
I just thought that it was funny that after all that time apart that's what we got together and talked about.
