According to ARCAracing Danica Patrick is not the fastest female on the track yet. It is Daytona Beach's very own Alli Owens, who was third quickest overall in the draft. In fact, Owens, in her Venturini Motorsports Chevrolet, was consistently in the top-three on the tower all weekend among the 80-plus men and women that took part in the high-profile extravaganza.
I'm not a huge race fan but I do like to watch Nascar and the high profile races they have. Daytona being one of them. However don't get ARCAracing confused with Nascar. They are two different entities. And if nothing else Danica Mania will be just that (mania) for ARCAracing. She will bring plenty of attention to the upcoming race -- February 6 Lucas Oil Slick Mist 200 -- where Danica will continue her attempt with the transition from Indy racing to Stock car and hopefully Nascar.
