The hard punch he delivered to Bryon Hout after the game with Boise State in the season opener, that got him thrown under the bus, left Hout with nothing more than a sore jaw, has hopefully healed between Blount and his Coach.
Late this morning we could find out more on the status of LaGarrette Blount's playing future with the Oregon Ducks. Head Coach Chip Kelly will hold a news conference giving an update on Blount's reinstatement. After having said he would never play for the Ducks again, Kelly seems to be having a change of heart, due to Blount's continued progress with a positive plan that has included an apology to fans and players on both sides of the ball. Apparently his efforts have been fueled with the help of Tony Dungy, Jon Gruden and a fine sociologist at the college. I say let the guy play! Don't take away his opportunity at a future in Professional Football. After all you can't define the word Chance without using the word Second.
