With all the hype surrounding the University of Miami I just wonder, can they keep it up? So many cliches being thrown out there these days like, " Re-U-venated", "U-Better Recognize", and "Cane they Keep it UM- up?" It's a wonder these youngsters can remain poised throughout if in fact they do.
Last night they did however by taking it to the Georgia Tech team who had previously been on the receiving end of all the hype after their last 4 match-ups. Friday night was the first time that a UM team had beaten GT in as many tries and I have to say that they did look deserving of their recent received hoorah rah's.
Jacory Harris completed 20 of 25 pass attempts for 269 yds. and 3 TD's. He is being tagged as the next up and coming great QB for the Canes. I say not so fast. Next week they will face a tough Virginia Tech team who lost their opener against Alabama but came back to trounce a young Marshall team, and will face Nebraska who I think will be an easy win for them. So before you get to excited about the Canes, let's see what happens this week with VT and find out next week if they still "Recognize."
