Throughout the week or actually earlier in the week Cassel's limp was still visible, but as the week went on he showed no signs of injury except for the brace he will wear today. Let's hope that our O-line can protect him or we might see him or not see him play again for at least 2 or 3 weeks if he injures it again.
The rest of the team had some good practices and even though they are young they still understand the importance of today's game against the hated Raiders. One of the most competitive rivalries in sports and most especially in the NFL is the Chiefs and Raiders. One group that does not forget and never will is the Chiefs faithful, the fans. And the Raiders have to play in one of the toughest places for any team to come into and win as the Chiefs have one of the best records at home for the past couple of decades in the NFL in Arrowhead Stadium. Go Chiefs! Raiders looked a lot better than most thought they would last week against the Chargers and was apparently cheated out of a touchdown that was called back. It clearly looked like a catch. If it's close Raiders win but if Cassel stays in and Larry Johnson or Jamal Charles get plenty of carries look for the Chiefs to pull another one out at home.
