Call Me The Baseball Wizard

Huge thanks to Terry Partain for the guest post

I consider myself to be one of the biggest baseball fans in the world. Even though I do not actually play the game, I probably know more than the players themselves. That is especially true when it comes to statistics. Since stats are so important to knowing what is going on, I need to be informed constantly of what is going on in the league. I've been a regular viewer of ESPN for quite some time now. I like how there is more than just one sports channel for me to tune into, at any given moment. The fact that some of my friends are still trying to catch up, never ceases to trip me out.

I love the advantage I have by knowing more than them about any given team, manager, or player. I love it when they try to make wagers against me and my knowledge, because I always end up victorious! They should know that they shouldn't even attempt to test me on my baseball knowledge. You would think that they would have picked up on how much I watch Sports Center, and all of the added segments from their special programs.

At any given minute, I can kind of cheat and tune in for information from channels that they do not have. I'll never give up this addiction. My favorite team is the Philadelphia Phillies because I was born and raised in Philly and because of several cable tv offers in Philadelphia I hear about I purchased a new service and now I get all the baseball games I could ever dream of having!
