Danica 'Mania' Patrick Not the Fastest ~ Yet
Yes She's Hot, Go Daddy Go
She's hot, I would be her GoDaddy.com any day. Her performance at the Nationwide Nascar Series race at the Daytona 500 was less than spectacular. Tony Stewarts winning performance was overshadowed by it but overall she was a proven contender.
Patrick announced Monday she would run the Nationwide race, basing her decision on a successful stock-car debut three days earlier in the ARCA event. So all eyes were on her from the first practice all the way through her involvement in a race-ending 12-car accident just past the halfway mark.
She was running in the middle of the pack when several cars wrecked in front of her, and Patrick tried to duck low to avoid them. But she couldn't’t dodge everything, slammed into the outside wall, and then spun through the grass.
You Go Girl!
Overall it was her debut and all eyes were upon her and what she brings to the circuit. I think we will all look forward to her up and coming Nascar racing scene and getting a lot of media attention. Umm.......Isn't the media attention the reason why they are all there in the first place? Hmm, maybe it's because of her past in Indy racing (making her a well known rookie in the process) and maybe it's because she is female. At least the other drivers are supporting her efforts! (For the most part.) Well let's wait to draw the final straw on her when she confronts one of the male drivers and points a finger, or attempts to slap them or see if they slap her. There not above it, sad to say.. Overall I'm glad to see her in there. Brought more attention than the black drivers will ever bring....Did I say that!
