This morning I was somewhat amused with an email I had received regarding Tiger Woods. I didn't open it because I really didn't expect it to mention anything new. We all know that since Thanksgiving or the day after the so called worlds #1 athlete has been in the news for using his putter somewhere other than the intended greens. And for all I know it's going to cost him a lot of green.
That's not what caught my attention with the email headline. I think it went something like this, "Are You Still Going to be a Fan of the Worlds Number One Athlete and Golfer"? Well I don't know. I have to say that whoever sent me the email obviously doesn't know me. I am not really a huge fan of golf to begin with. The only time I tried to drive, putt or hit even one golf ball I missed. I've played other sports throughout my life and have to say that at some I was pretty good. Good enough to have been Nominated Player of the Year in basketball yet not nearly good enough to be #1 in the World however. But when I think of Tiger Woods and how well he hits the bumpy little ball, I do have a huge amount of respect for the way he can play the game. Especially when I am reminded of how foolish I looked attempting it.
To answer the question, am I going to still be a fan of Tiger? As much of a fan as I ever was! I did begin to watch golf more than just when the Masters was on simply because He is such an amazing player he makes the game much more interesting. He commanded respect on the course. Though I don't condone what he has done or been accused of by the Tramps coming out of the Wood-work, I do wish Him the best and hope the Hoe's get what they deserve. Common sense tells you that you don't screw a Celebrity thinking your the only one, and Tiger should have known too, that you don't screw a Hoe and expect your garden to remain green.
