This has been one of the most disappointing seasons I have ever endured as a Chiefs fan. I know it's early, well nearly half way through, but I don't see much improvement taking place. At the beginning of the season I think all of us diehards had high hopes for a good, maybe not great, but a good year. And with a new head coach and a new GM I don't think that we expected it to be this bad. Yes it's bad folks. Painful to say the least. So I ask, are the Chiefs the worst team in football right now? It sure seems that way.
Yesterdays blowout at the hands of San Diego Chargers made it that much more gut wrenching to watch. I actually turned it to keep an eye on my favorite player Brett Favre and the Vikings. Of course they lost too playing at the Steelers. I must say the Steelers have a very good team again this year but I so wanted the Vikes to win. With that loss it left 3 teams unbeaten this year and the Broncos would have to be one of them. Since I picked them last in our division below the Chiefs it truly sucks! But I will (don't tell anyone though) root for them to go all the way since they are in the AFC West. The other two teams are the Colts and the Saints. All three teams play at home next week and all play good teams. The Broncos may have the toughest challenge because they are playing the Ravens who we all know have been hard to beat on any given Sunday. My hats off to Drew Brees and the year he is having as well as Kyle Orton. And my hats always off to the Manning brother named Peyton who always performs at a high level and is possibly the best QB all around of all time.
Who's your team and what do you think of the Chiefs? Are they currently the worst team in the league? Let me know what you think by leaving a comment. Thanks
