Rockies take win over the Giants with a walk off Grand Slam in 14 innings. Rah Rah!
It's not easy talking about baseball. At least for me it isn't. I am not much of a fan until deep into the playoffs and then it has to be the Cardinals, Royals, or the Braves to get me even excited about it. For now the Cardinals are winning the NL Central by 8 games, the Braves are down 7 games in the NL East and let's just say the lousy Royals.... are next to last in the AL Central, behind 19 games and.....and are well the Royals. I would like to note that I kept up with the Royals early, early on in the season as Greinke was giving them something to cheer about and was actually looking like a CY Young candidate. However it takes a whole season to hug that honor.
So to be fair to all sports fans of baseball, I thought I would mention that last night the Colorado Rockies won with a walk off Grand Slam, something that hasn't been accomplished since 2002. Ryan Spilborghs launched it deep in the 14th inning to lift the Rockies to a six to four win. If I keep up with baseball here on out, it would have to be to see who wins the NL West. The Diamondbacks, Dodgers, or the Rockies. And that folks will be my pick of who wins the world series. One of these three teams. OK so I don't like baseball much. I did win a Pee Wee League Championship when I was a pre-little leaguer so Lee knows pee wee about BB.
