After a lackluster performance since resigning Jason Giambi, the Oakland A's released him Friday. It seems only fitting that he was doped by them after he reportedly was juiced when he up and left them for the Yankees after the 2001 season. Oakland gave him his big league debut back in 1995 and it seems only fitting that they may have also sent him on his way from the big leagues for good. Sayonara J. G..
